In the session, Lynette Morgan will share her experiences as an autistic person receiving maternity care, covering; mental health, sensory processing, communication, relationships (with baby and others), identity and more. This will be combined with her clinical and professional experience to help build understanding, insight and resolutions. Lynette is an adult nurse with experience in midwifery, neonatal intensive care and perinatal mental health. She has spent the last 4 years dedicated to researching autism. She has a particular interest in converging all her personal and professional experience creating a holistic view. Lynette is a late-diagnosed AFAB autistic parent of three autistic children and married to an autistic partner.
