Understanding Autism Daytime

Understanding Autism is a 6-week course that focuses on increasing parents understanding of their autistic child/teenager and looking at how best to support them. The course provides in-depth information as well as providing a safe space for parent/carers to ask questions and connect with others. The 6 Sessions will include the following topics:-

• Introductory session
• Overview of autism and the opportunity to learn from young autistic people
• Understanding Communication Differences
• Understanding Sensory Differences
• Understanding Behaviour
• Autism and the Family

Each session is for two hours and the courses are held either online in the evenings or daytime at CAAS. Booking is required.
