DESCRIPTION:For autistic people aged 14-19 without a co-occurring learning disability resident in Harrow\, Brent\, Ealing\, Hillingdon\, Hounslow\, Hammersmith & Fulham\, Westminster\, and Kensington & Chelsea. \nA monthly online forum for young autistic people to explore what it means to become an adult. During the teen years there’s a lot of talk about ‘growing up’\, ‘being an adult’ without really discussing what that means. \nThese monthly sessions will provide a safe place to explore and ask those important questions\, work through any worries about ‘growing up’ and what ‘being an adult’ means. DESCRIPTION:Film Group\nOur Film Group offers a relaxed and supportive space to meet people\, socialise and enjoy films together. \nMost sessions take place at the CAAS Adult Hub\, where the group chooses a film to watch while sharing pizza. There is also time for informal discussion afterwards. \nOnce every three months\, the group visits a local cinema instead. \nCost\n\nFilm and pizza sessions at the Adult Hub are free\nFor cinema outings\, attendees pay their own costs\, including their cinema ticket and any refreshments\n\nAttending the group\nThis group is for registered CAAS clients who have been invited to attend by a member of staff. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. \nPlease do not attend unless a staff member has confirmed your place.
