SUMMARY:Adults Film Group 22+ (3rd Friday)
DESCRIPTION:Film Group\nOur Film Group offers a relaxed and supportive space for autistic and ADHD adults to meet people\, socialise and enjoy films together. \nHow the group works \nSessions take place monthly on Friday evenings at the CAAS Centre in Eastcote. We have a big screen\, with chairs and tables set up so that everyone can relax and enjoy the film together. \nEach month has a different theme or genre\, such as comedy\, sci-fi\, 80s films or films by particular directors. Before each session\, group members receive an email with three film options based on the month’s theme and can vote for the film they would like to watch. \nThere is around an hour before the film to chat\, socialise and share some food together\, either pizza or fish and chips takeaway. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food if they prefer. \nAdditionally\, every third month\, we head out to a local cinema instead of meeting at CAAS. \nCost \n· Sessions at the CAAS Centre have free food provided. \n· For cinema outings\, attendees pay their own costs\, including their cinema ticket and any refreshments. \nAttending the group \nThis group is for registered CAAS clients who have been invited to attend by a member of staff. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Do not attend unless a staff member has confirmed your place please.
