DESCRIPTION:For autistic people aged 14-19 without a co-occurring learning disability resident in Harrow\, Brent\, Ealing\, Hillingdon\, Hounslow\, Hammersmith & Fulham\, Westminster\, and Kensington & Chelsea. \nA monthly online forum for young autistic people to explore what it means to become an adult. During the teen years there’s a lot of talk about ‘growing up’\, ‘being an adult’ without really discussing what that means. \nThese monthly sessions will provide a safe place to explore and ask those important questions\, work through any worries about ‘growing up’ and what ‘being an adult’ means. SUMMARY:Embracing ADHD
DESCRIPTION:A six-week course for anyone who has been recently diagnosed or is wanting to find out more about their ADHD. The course provides a safe space for adults to share their experiences\, learn from each other and explore ways to work through some of the challenges they face. The course will also focus on celebrating strengths and shared strategies to support their diagnosis. The course will cover topics such as in depth understanding of the condition\, executive functioning\, supporting focus and organisation\, relationships\, sensory issues\, emotional regulation\, relationships and self-care.
