Please note: This workshop is specifically designed for individuals supporting autistic adults (e.g. friends, family members, partners, carers , NOT designed for professionals). It does not cover support for autistic children . This workshop is ONLY for those living in NWL.

This workshop provides a practical introduction to autistic and ADHD burnout, exploring how burnout can affect individuals and the wider family. It examines the signs and causes of burnout, its impact on wellbeing, relationships, and daily life, and offers supportive strategies to promote recovery, reduce overwhelm, and prevent future burnout.

  • Understand autistic and ADHD burnout, including common signs, triggers, and how it differs from everyday stress
  • Explore the impact of burnout on family life, relationships, and caring roles
  • Learn practical strategies to support recovery, reduce overwhelm, and build sustainable routines

Participants will gain a greater understanding of burnout and its effects, alongside practical tools to support wellbeing, strengthen family relationships, and create environments that reduce the risk of future burnout.
