Join us for an enlightening training session led by Emma Nicklin, an experienced Occupational Therapist and the trust lead for AHP’s and OT in CNWL. With her extensive background, including an MSc in advanced Occupational Therapy and practitioner status in sensory integration, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insights into the realm of sensory differences and their impact on neurodiverse individuals.
The training will also be co-delivered with Leona, a lived experience speaker as well.
About the training:
This course offers a brief introduction to our 8 sensory systems and highlights their crucial role in shaping our understanding of the world and our ability to function within it. While many people navigate their sensory preferences effortlessly, some individuals experience sensory needs that require attention and support.
