Funded Trainings and Networking

for professionals working with autistic/ADHDadults

CAAS has a range of services designed to support professionals working in North-West London. For enquiries or to book places on any of our services, please contact us using the relevant details as noted next to each service.

We are extremely fortunate that a number of funders have agreed to pay for training for certain organisations. We know improved access to, and experience of, services comes from awareness and understanding by professionals, and these training services aim to facilitate this.

We want to be as welcoming as possible. If you need any support to access our services, or information provided in a different format, please let us know.

What Others Think

We’re incredibly proud of the great feedback we’ve recieved on our trainings.

Autism in Context Trainings

In partnership with the NWL ICB, we offer a range of regular training around autism, through our autism in context series.  Some sessions focus on general understanding of the conditions, others cover specific topics such as Autism and Mental Health, or Autism and Gender. Please keep an eye on our social media posts or sign up to our mailing lists to be the first to knowPlease contact emma@adhdandautism.org to find out more.

Statutory Service Trainings

We know that our professional colleagues in the Mental Health, Social Care and Health Care sectors need tailored information about the ways in which they can best support their ADHD and autistic clients, and our Statutory Services Workshops are here to meet that need.

For professionals working with ADHD or autistic adults in a statutory service setting, and who have already attended our Understanding Autism and Understanding ADHD ‘Autism in Context’ training sessions, come along to hear in more-depth about the ways you can increase accessibility and inclusivity in your organisation.

Professionals Connect Forum

We believe that we are stronger when we work together, so we host a range of opportunities each year to share learnings, support other professionals working in a similar location or field, and build good practice.

You can also sign up to our mailing list for updates about trainings and services for professionals (button for professional newsletter sign up)

Community Outreach

Our mission is to raise understanding and awareness in our community, and to improve both access to – and the experience of – local services.

As part of our outreach strategy, we are placing particular focus on individuals and families from ESL (English as a Second Language) backgrounds and those facing socio-economic disadvantage. These groups often encounter additional barriers when accessing support, and we are committed to making our services more inclusive and accessible.

If you are responsible for, or play a key role in supporting, ADHD and/or autistic individuals or their families, we would love to work with you. We are especially keen this year to strengthen our provision for those who do not speak English as their first language, and for those experiencing financial hardship.  If your organisation supports these communities, please get in touch with our Director of Services, Julie, at julie@adhdandautism.org.

We’d love to hear how we can better support the people you serve.

Schools Support Worker

Did you know? We offer a package for secondary schools to embed one of our Youth and School Support workers into the school community. Based at your school for a day we can offer one2one pupil support. Lunchtime clubs, parent support and teacher advice as you need it. Find out more by emailing blaise@adhdandautism.org.
