Services for Parents & Carers (of adults)

CAAS has a range of services designed to support parents and carers of adults diagnosed with ADHD or autism.

If you want to access our services, and enquire about referring yourself to our services, please email the adult team at adults@adhdandautism.org. For all enquiries, or to book places on any of the below, please contact us using the links below.

Please note: these FAQs are specifically for adults (18+) seeking support for themselves, or for parents, carers, and supporters of people over 18. 

We want to be as welcoming as possible, and will make accommodations to enable you to access our services. Please click on this document to see some of the reasonable adjustments we can make to support you, and do let us know by emailing or calling us if there is anything else we can do to make our services accessible for you.

For:     Parents, partners & supporters of ADHD/autistic people in North-West London.
When:  1st Monday of each month, 7:00-9:00 pm (excl Bank Holidays)
What:  These online drop-in sessions are a great introduction to our services, where you can meet the Adult Support Team and find out about the support we can provide for you and your family. They offer the opportunity to meet other parents and partners in a similar situation. There will be opportunities to have a private chat with staff during the session.

For:     Members of CAAS.
When:  Access during drop-in sessions or by arrangement.
What:  Our community book collection includes a wide range of titles, including fiction, non-fiction, science, sport, biographies, and more. New books are added regularly, so there is always something new to discover. Books can be borrowed free of charge. If you would like to keep a book permanently, please bring another book to swap with it.

For:     Parents, partners and supporters of Autistic adults residing in NW London.
When:  A 3-week course delivered quarterly (Hybrid & Online) & Online
What:  This 3-week course aims to provide insights into autism, and increase understanding of communication and sensory differences.  Particularly useful for supporters of late diagnosed adults. We also offer one-off insights workshops on specific topics, contact emma@adhdandautism.org for more information.
